Curricula are the highest level object on CCEF3 and give you the ability to create an instructional manual to help teachers stay on task in classroom.
The goal of a curriculum on CCEF3 is to help create a common understanding of what needs to happen in order for learners to reach a given learning outcome. A key feature of the way curricula are structured is that they allow you to attach crucial research used in developing the learning outcomes. The objective is to have a common, shared and above all objective understanding of what the curriculum is designed to achieve.
Over and above the research element, you can also specify learning outcomes and the milestones required to reach those. Milestones allow you to further associate materials, activities and lesson plans with them giving you a means to give examples to teachers of appropriate teaching strategies.
As with other objects on the system, curricula have a collaborative section where you can invite key people to discuss the development of the curriculum thus giving you an added layer of authoritative validation.
Any user can create a curriculum on the system for any subject matter.
