Pick an evening before the 25th, any evening. You need less than an hour together. Spread the cards, make the tea, and decide what goes in the bag this month. You have 100 points in total, spent one conversation at a time. Your child chooses 55. You choose the remaining 45. Some months you add a card. Some months you talk each other out of one. The choices on offer add up to far more than 100 points, so you decide, together, what actually matters. There are no right answers.
